Nova Wallet and Polkadot had real standing in crypto, but almost no presence with gamers. To tackle this, their partnership with BLAST put the brand inside one of esports' biggest stages.
Our challenge: make blockchain feel relevant to an audience that wasn't looking for an explainer, just something worth doing.
The Trade
So we turned Nova Wallet into something fans could do, not just see. We built Nova Shots, a live prediction game inside BLAST's Counter-Strike broadcasts where fans trade teams like stocks. Everyone starts with 1000 BLAST tokens, builds a portfolio match by match, and cashes out if they're holding the winning team. Every trade is a real on-chain action, designed as a game mechanic instead of a tutorial. We activated the experience across BLAST's biggest stops including Austin, Copenhagen, and Malta.
The Payoff
Nova Shots proved you don't need to explain a product, you just need to give people a reason to use it. Most brands would have used this broadcast spot for a logo placement. We turned it into measurable growth, with real users and on-chain activity.
