From Instant Ramen to Pirate Ships: BUILD A ROCKET at gamescom 2025

Cologne, August 2025 – It was all set for another successful year for the international gaming agency BUILD A ROCKET at the gamescom. Attracting major attention with extraordinary concepts.

With a booth for Avalanche, BUILD A ROCKET presented the largest stand in the agency’s history: on 305 square meters, an immersive experience world was created, showcasing the Avalanche ecosystem and putting four blockchain gaming projects in the spotlight.

Together with Nongshim, a booth was realized for the first time that could literally be eaten. Built entirely out of instant noodle cups, it was gradually dismantled by visitors and became one of the hot topics of the trade fair.

The DKB was also part of the program: as a sponsor of the Prime League finals, the German credit bank offered activities such as a League of Legends “Minion Farming” challenge and the opportunity to compete against the Xperion NXT e-sports team to win attractive prizes.

Also featured at the prime league finals: the popular “Break and Cheer Area” by KitKat, which once again proved to be a crowd favorite this year.

Beyond the trade fair halls, BUILD A ROCKET also brought the industry together. At the Beam x Avalanche Networking Event at Rheinloft, international representatives of the gaming industry gathered for exchange and networking above the rooftops of the city.

“Our booths once again became meeting points for thousands of visitors, partners, and friends from around the world. We had inspiring conversations, forged new contacts, and celebrated gaming culture together,” said CEO Alexander Albrecht about the success of this year’s trade fair.
